Tips: How to study MIS

As discussed in class, he has already told that he is going to ask what is taught in class.  So,it would be better if every one try installing those apps themselves before reading the theory or vice versa. Just note each steps very carefully while installing the apps and it would be ease to write on the answer on the practical approach rather than mugging up some technical terms.

Try this on your pc before writing the paper

  1. Cloud computing – icloud(for imac), OneDrive (Microsoft), Gdrive (googleApp)
  2. Collaboration tools – Dropbox, Box
  3. Symforms
  4. NAS
  5. Pogoplug devices

5. Taxation (Phase – 1)

Earlier Tax used to be a university paper. So, this is gone be our very first experience of giving through college.

So, the syllabus may differ for different streams.

Katrak will mostly set for MIM + MHRM* (comes same to same as the question bank …pls note)

Ajay Sharma for MMM*

Pophale for MFM*

(These are assumptions)***

Methodology:  We have covered a huge portion in tax for the class of MIM and MHRM. As per the guidelines of Katrak madam, I have designed my last part of the blog covering all the major topics which were taught in the class. I m also attached a complete scan copy of the Taxation book written by my class mate – Harshit Gor. It has been written very clearly and neatly which will help most of us to grab the important points at the very last moment. Very special thanks to him. .  I have also attached the revision paper which is set as per the syllabus with solutions. (Phase – 1).With additional to this, I will also provide my inputs of learning from each chapter as a last minute revision (in Phase 2)

Note – Till last years Taxation was a university paper, My analysis says that theory was less repeated.

Word of Caution!!!!!!!:(Only for MFM) Bare act book for Income tax are allowed for MFM guys. Normal trend shows theory have been asked up to 30 marks at the same time…..it is not repeated.  You are allowed to take this book but it can consume a lot of time locating the answer in the book and this answers can be big……Marks are given on the basis of fulfilment of that particular topic and one cannot  skip any details.

My advice ….to all MFM guys …Please focus on Practical sums at the max.

Tips– Go through the excel file ….it contains all the theory questions asked in the exam. So locate and mark all the answers in advance ….in your Bare act book …asap…it will helped.

  • MIM + MHRM – Follow Katrak madam
